Some chilled electronic music for you from new label Atrium Digital Recordings in this split single by Thesis and Vital called the Corridors EP. The first track, called “Reflections,” is by Thesis, and features that sweet combination of mid-tempo breaks with lush pads. The atmospheric, and somewhat ambient, bass music of “My Island” by Vital is the second song. Hear them below.
Mo’jardo consists of three friends spread across three different countries, making chilled electronic lounge music: Bevan Mearns (Bangkok), Rick Kilcullen (Australia) and Chris Jungo (Switzerland). You may have heard their song “Tequila Days” on the Lounge Du Soleil Volume 15 compilation this past summer. The group has now released its debut EP, called 25 Floors Up, and you can hear a preview below.
Van, whose full name is Van Rodionov, may be Ukrainian, but he was clearly dreaming of Brazil (as most non-Brazilians probably do) when he composed the aptly titled Sentimentos Bossa Nova, a collection of six very chill Bossa Nova songs that combine traditional guitar sounds with subtle electronic beats.
